Mysteries Resolved in The Next Season
The showrunner assures that the upcoming season will tackle the questions followers have been posing, like why the cannibal leader ordered Alastor to disappear for seven years, which weakened his influence in Hell.

Meanwhile, the origin story episode offers another glimpse into what the main characters of Demonic Sinners appeared as as humans, the second after viewing Sir Pentious’ Victorian-era human form in episode 2. She explains that significant consideration went into these character designs.
“The human versions of these personas hold great significance,” she notes. “They range from looking really different from their infernal version to seeming almost identical. With Pentious, the first one we see, there was a little bit of a debate within the team between choosing a design that represents the character, as opposed to going with an option that's historically correct. We leaned toward creating a design that just felt like it was him.”
She says the primary controversy over Pentious’ human design was his lengthy locks: “We were like, ‘No one typically had extended hair like that in that historical period.’ But simultaneously, we think the outline is extremely crucial, and we also just thought he looked good. We were like, ‘This just feels right.’ We kind of provided the rationale that he's a hermit, so he just let his hair grow out. So there is always a solution. As we create the mortal forms of these personas […] it's such a fun thing to investigate and determine. I am looking forward for fans to view additional of what the human forms look like.”
