Charli XCX Plays a Twisted Persona of Herself in Satirical Film Teaser
The Grammy-winning artist is gearing up for a substantial cinematic presence in 2026, beginning with the mockumentary titled The Moment.
Throughout the movie, the artist plays what she calls as a dark version of her public image.
It’s the truest representation of the entertainment world that I’ve ever witnessed, the star commented.
She clarified in a discussion: It’s not a tour documentary, yet the concept came from the expectation to create one.

The initial preview, unveiled on Thursday, blends authentic footage from Charli’s Sweat tour with imagined off-stage interactions.
The Moment is overseen and co-authored by Aidan Zamiri, who revealed that the plot focuses on a reality where the artist took completely different paths throughout the marketing of her hugely successful record Brat.
